As part of a transfer of operations due to age, Alfred Konrad Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG was taken over by the newly founded KONRAD Armaturentechnik GmbH on 1 April 2010. It continues the business activities at the traditional location in Bochum.
The managing director, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Lutz Löbardt, brings a high level of technical expertise to the company thanks to his many years of experience in the industrial valves sector. He takes over a workforce that already at this point consists entirely of qualified employees, some of whom have been with the company for decades. In the years that followed, their competences were further developed and they were enriched by young, innovative minds. Thus, experience and innovation are ideally combined at KONRAD, united by the claim of all employees to want to offer the customer quality – out of tradition and conviction.
With an export share of approx. 50 %, KONRAD Armaturen are in use worldwide – wherever demanding operating parameters are given or particularly high safety standards are applied. With its quality awareness certified according to DIN ISO 9001-2015, KONRAD guarantees excellent tightness, technical functionality and exceptional durability of its products.
